Zoho news, tips and tricks for the full suite of Zoho online business solutions.
If you were considering the free edition of Google Apps it will be best to consider moving to the range of free Zoho applications instead.
The Google Apps free edition has been withdrawn.
Much has been posted on the Internet about this and now that the dust has settled, we have decided to comment.
Here is the story direct from Google:
"Individuals wishing to use Google’s web apps like Gmail and Google Drive should create a free personal Google Account, which provides a seamless experience across all of our web services on any device.
For Businesses, instead of two versions, there will be one. Companies of all sizes will sign up for our premium version, Google Apps for Business, which includes 24/7 phone support for any issue, a 25GB inbox, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee with no scheduled downtime. Pricing is still $50 per user, per year."
One blogger asked in his blog, which I will not be reading again, "what's all the fuss about - surely small businesses can afford $50 per year per user".
Hey, come to the real world my friend! Small businesses in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, even in Australia, and smaller countries throughout the world, still need to consider free applications and free software.
And Zoho is still very committed to bringing to small businesses highly cost affective online business solutions and most of the Zoho services offer free editions.
